Today evening after my prayers, I went to my balcony to feel the cool breeze. I suddenly noticed a big heart shining out there. I couldn't believe my eyes and looked at it again. That's true, it was many lights that actually formed a white glowing heart from The Marriott Hotel, Lulu, Edapally. I quickly captured that in my mobile and passed on my friends.

Later, i had a thought whether this could be a message and wanted to know what these lights meant. I searched in google with all possible key words to find one article about the Bonn Marriott Hotel Beuel and the message was inspiring. That was actually a corporate strategy to thank corona helpers.

It goes like this.. An employee of the Corporate Strategy Department at the Marriott Hotel, said: "After we said goodbye to the last tourists staying in our hotel - because of the corona crisis, we wanted to give a token of gratitude and recognition to the people who are working in health care at the front lines for the health and well-being of the people of Bonn during these difficult times". The message of thanks was certainly well-received.

And how did the hotel manage to technically produce the heart of lights? Some staff thought about which rooms would need to have lights switched on in order to create a heart shape. This may sound simple, but it definitely required some experimentation. What resulted was the knowledge that 24 rooms needed to have the lights turned on, and in all others it had to be dark.

Such messages really inspires and i really appreciate the thanks gesture from the employees of Martiott Hotel. Similar formations were made by other hotels like Sheraton also. It's a mind soothing initiative and the idea from staff is outstanding too.
