I have been working for the last 15 years with various industries that include academics, IT, healthcare, advertising, event management, management consulting and to say they are all service organizations. People and their performance are the key factors that decide the success of an organization especially with services.
I had identified three qualities that makes one a performer. Performance is measured against their contributions to fulfill certain parameters that were defined as key result areas (KRA).

How does some people emerge as a performers and others do not?
It is because of the three qualities which they have, but are not limited to though. Let that be an entrepreneur or an employee, these are must characteristics that they exhibit during the tenure of their career in any industry. I packed them in the name of Iterative Is.
The first I stands for Interest. One who has interest to do a particular job or activity performs better than others in terms of completing it on deadlines. The interest drives him/her to arrive at a result.
The second I stands for Involvement. Those who involve in a work go deep inside to make it more meaningful and ensure that the result fulfill its purpose.
The third I stands for Initiative. Very few people have this quality. Which means they put in extra mile effort for value additions by their own will that will differentiate their work from others.
I named them Iterative I's because, it must keep going. It becomes a practice and it acts as a combination that will bring out the best in a person's ability to perform and win.
This is an understanding and if practiced with conviction, success is guaranteed. Success is not fame, not money, its the satisfaction of arriving at a defined goal meeting the deadlines and if it meet the requirements, enjoy. 😀
