EBM means that decisions should be based on a combination of critical thinking and the best available evidence. Evidence means information, facts, or data supporting an assumption. When Ravana took away Sita by Pushpaka vimanam, Sita threw her jewels at the monkeys seen on the hilltop.
It was Sugriva’s team who got these jewels. The monkeys collected the jewelry without knowing whose it is. When Sree Rama and Lakshmana came in search of Sita in the forest, they met Sugriva.
When Sri Rama intimated Sugriva about the incident, Sugriva ordered the monkeys to bring the Jewels collected from forest to show Rama, and see if those belonged to his wife.

Rama ascertained the jewels, and the monkeys said, If this belongs to her, it means the monkeys know in which direction Ravana went, and they made strategies to find out and rescue Seetha.
Also, they got information from Jatayu that it was Ravana who took her away. For devising any strategies, information and evidence is very important.
The best decisions can be made based on evidence, which would prove right in most of the cases.
