During Covid19 lock down what we could see in every industry is e learning classes. The first news that fed seriousness about covid19 spread was closing of schools exactly a month before, that is on March 10th 2020 cancelling all the exams that were scheduled. The first tough decision taken by the government was on academics and cancellation of social gatherings and events.

My children left to Kannur as vacation started early. Every year they spend their summer vacation with grand parents. During holidays they always missed their Sunday Balvihar classes. Balvihar classes are organized by Chinmaya Mission at various locations to teach children importance of values and dharma in life.

This time it's long vacation and due to covid19 lockdown, Balvihar classes were also suspended. Today I received a message from our teacher that classes will be held on Zoom video and all children can utilize their time effectively.

That was a good idea too because for that time, kids can be out of television and mobile games. The best part is that my children also got opportunity to attend the class this year during vacation. Kudos to Zoom, even Bhagavat Gita classes also got used to zoom and it became this popular due to covid19 penetration.

Schools have started online classes for secondary and senior secondary classes, why not Spiritual classes too. Though Chinmaya Mission is organizing online Vedanta classes since years, this shows that e learning has become the new normal for all of us.
